Objectives of Diploma in Pharmacy:

  1. To prepare professional diploma level pharmacy assistant demonstrating positive attitude and respect for the profession and socio-cultural values.
  2. To prepare professional diploma level pharmacy assistant for providing quality dispensing and health service to people in the hospital as well as in the community settings.
  3. To prepare supportive technical human resource, with quality concept, for pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality control and drug control.
  4. To prepare leadership quality in professional pharmacy assistant to manage rational supply of pharmaceuticals and to promote rational use of drugs within the health care service or at the private pharmacies.

Duration of the Course: 3 years

To be eligible for selection, for a candidate should have:

  • Successfully completed SLC/SEE with 45% or having minimum ā€˜Cā€™ grade in English, Math and Science with GPA 2.
  • Physically and mentally fit.
  • Passed Entrance Examination conducted by CTEVT

Applicant should submit the following documents at the time of application

  • SLC pass certificate
  • Character certificate
  • Citizenship certificate (for the name, parents name, age, date of birth and address verification purpose only)
  • Physical fitness certificate / Birth certificate
